Course Overview

This course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be introduced to ICT systems, basic small office and home networking, programming techniques, and to work and communicate effectively in a general ICT work environment also promoting ethics and values of the public sector setting.

Target Group

  • Grade 12 school leavers with a minimum of C grades seeking an entry-level qualification in Information Technology
  • Public servants with a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience who wish to gain foundational ICT skills
  • Entry-level staff or beginners aiming to work effectively in a general ICT work environment, including public sector settings
  • Participants interested in developing ethical and professional ICT practices aligned with public service values
