The Somare Institute of Leadership and Governance (SILAG) is proud to house a state-of-the-art library facility, made possible through the PNG-Australia Government Partnership program. Construction of the new library began with the demolition of the old structure in June 2017, and by June 2018, the modern facility was completed. Officially opened in June 2019, the new Moeder State of Art Library offers a digital learning experience through its E-Library, allowing users to access information online via the internet.
The SILAG Library stands as the academic heart of the campus, playing a vital role in supporting student learning and research. It serves as an on-campus hub for fulfilling information needs, encouraging students to engage actively in their academic journeys. The library houses a broad range of resources across various fields including general works, philosophy, religion, social sciences, language, pure and applied sciences, fine arts and recreation, literature, geography, history, and biography, catering to diverse educational and scholarly interests.
