The Island Regional Training Centre (IRTC), under the Somare Institute of Leadership and Governance (SILAG), serves as the primary training hub for the New Guinea Islands Region. Located in Kokopo, East New Britain Province, IRTC is committed to developing skilled, ethical, and competent public servants by offering targeted, high-quality training programs in governance, management, and community development.
