Highlands Regional Training Centre (HRTC)

The Highlands Regional Training Centre (HRTC) is a key learning hub under SILAG, serving public service officers and professionals across the Highlands region. The training centre provides administrative coordination and training support to participants throughout the year. HRTC is located in Mt. Hagen, Western Highlands Province, and remains committed to promoting skills development and leadership capacity for the region’s workforce.

HRTC delivers a range of programs under the Long-Term Courses (LTC) and Short-Term Courses (STC) categories. LTC programs include DoGLM, DPA, CHRM (online and face-to-face), CIA, and NC4G Leadership & Management. STC programs include Records Management, NC2 in Government Public Service Induction, Project Management, and Report Writing ensuring diverse learning opportunities for public servants.
