Course Overview

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to administer and manage information and communications technology (ICT) support in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) using a wide range of general ICT technologies.

Persons working at this level provide a broader rather than specialized ICT support function, applying a wide range of higher-level technical skills in ICT areas such as networking, IT support, database development, programming and web development.

  • ICT officers and technicians working in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) or government organizations
  • IT support staff seeking to advance into ICT administration and management roles
  • Professionals with experience in networking, IT support, database development, programming, or web development

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  1. Successful completion of a Certificate in Information Technology or a related qualification
  2. A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in the public or private sector in an ICT-related role
